I've just got back after a 3-hour drive from Llandudno, and easily two of the best gigs I've ever been to.
I'm an 18 year old student, so I haven't been an Alarm/Mike Peters fan for as long as some. I first saw the band when they supported Status Quo a few years ago, and they instantly became my favourite band (they blew the Quo away!).

Apologies to those of you who are still awaiting the arrival of the DVD dedication. A combination of huge demand, wide array of choice of dedications and each performance and conversion to DVD taking longer than anticipated has contributed to this delay. It is hoped that all initial orders will be posted out before the April Tour begins. We have been able to see the dedications as they pop into the office from Mike's studio to be posted off and we can promise that it will be worth the wait.

The Gathering Thirteen (Friday)
I went to the Gathering 13 to see Mike Peters and came away with the impression that I had witnessed not just one artist but nine!
Friday night's 'acoustic' stage had been set up along a side wall and a huge projection of The Gathering DVD Collection played on the stage backdrop. The concert wasn't in the round, or on the main stage, it was on a stage built to face the entrance.

Mike Peters' famous Duane Eddy guitar as played by Brian Setzer live at Hollywood Palladium in 1984 on 'Bound for Glory'. MPO Mastermind 2001:
The convention began at 11.00 a.m. and was soon full of excited people chatting about last night's show and meeting up with friends from previous Gatherings. There was a showing of The Alarm 2000 Day Documentary until around midday. 'Modnus Modnusson' then took to the mic and everyone settled down to the quiz.
